Angelo State University and Howard College are great assets to this area and they offer State Industrial Job training and Vocational-technical Education programs to this region. State grants and work training programs are available to new, relocating and expanding companies.

  INCENTIVE PROGRAMS

Skills Development Fund:  Funding for customized job training through community and technical colleges up to $3,000.00 per trainee.

Texas Enterprise Zone Program: State sales tax refund on building and equipment purchases up to $2,000 for each new job created up to $ 1.25 million over five years, franchise tax reductions of up to 50% of capital investment in the zone, and state administered program priority.
