Lillian M. Hudspeth Memorial Hospital www.sonora-hospital.org is a designated
critical access hospital licensed for twelve beds. Critical access standards
are unique for rural hospitals and greatly enhance the benefits and improved
viability of the rural hospital. The nursing department is staffed with
Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Certified Nurses Aides. The
hospital is proud of the high nurse-to-patient ratio providing quality care
for all patients. A small town atmosphere of friendliness is one of the
highest priorities of all staff members.

Sonora is proud of its school system that offers quality education from Pre K through High School. Sonora Middle School is a Texas Exemplary School. A modern high school complex, complete with two gymnasiums and an auditorium, has the most up to date facilities in the area, and will effectively serve secondary school needs for generations to come. Sonora is also the proud home of a state championship football team, the Sonora Broncos. |
